2015 Easter Round-up!

With Easter just days away we thought it might be helpful to do a round up post for anyone out there looking for last minute ideas on what to make for Easter dinner, or tips for making homemade peanut butter eggs, or instructions for dying hard boiled eggs using only natural ingredients.

The following is a collection of Easter themed posts we’ve done through the years. Clicking on the images or the links below each will take you to their individual posts. Enjoy!

If you are having a ham this sunday and looking for a new way to cook it, try a root beer baste.

If you are in a need a new side dish to try, why not try the Potato Galette we had with our Root Beer Ham

Some bunny shaped rolls on the side would be super cute. Unfortunately I think the original inspiration on these were fake, but it might be a fun read anyway, plus you get a recipe to make homemade rolls anyway.

If you will be dying eggs this year, try going the natural route. These dyes are made from natural vegetable product and not chemicals. The colors are not as vivid, but personally I like the rustic look.

If you are looking to make your own homemade peanut butter eggs they are not as hard as you think. And they are delicious.

We even made a made hazelnut mocha cappuccino eggs using the exact same method.

This year I was planning to try my hands at molding chocolate lollipops. I bought all the stuff I need to do it, but I have not had the time to try yet. If I am lucky I will try this weekend and will definitely post about, but it will not help anyone else this year. Oh well, I guess that will give us something new for next years Easter round up!

We hope everyone has a nice holiday be that Easter or Passover.
