I have been growing this celery “bush” for the past few weeks. It just sits in a little dish of water on my window sill, and I add fresh water daily, and a couple of drops of plant food maybe once a week. I would like to plant it outside soon, but there are some pretty aggressive squirrels around here that would just love some fresh veggies to snack on!
This guy may look all cute and cuddly, but he annihilated our apricot crop, and tried to have his way with a pineapple I grew:
My experience has been that it is pretty easy to regrow fruits and vegetables with just a little bit of effort. The difficult part is keeping the critters away!
