Shiso Caprese Salad
sliced (I like the idea of using Beefsteak tomatoes, since shiso is also called a "Beefsteak plant". Seems complementary.)
stems removed (the leaves can get quite large, so the larger the leaf, the fewer you need. Cut large leaves in half.)
Salt & Pepper
Place tomato slice on plate.
Place mozzarella slice on the tomato.
Place shiso leaf on top of mozzarella.
Repeat steps 1-3, until plate is full.
Sprinkle with salt & pepper to taste.
Drizzle with olive oil and Balsamic vinegar.
